In case there are some stubborn pieces that you can't scoop, remove it manually. You may dispose the debris in your trash or use this as composting materials. However, you may need to separate the metal things on the debris such as nails and screws.

3. Rinsing

Once all the major debris has been eliminated, it is time to expel the remaining dirt using a garden hose. Starting from the section away from the downspout, rinse the gutter with water using the spray function of your hose. Continue doing this until there are no traces of dirt in your gutter.

4. Clearing the Clogged Materials

You may start by applying water pressure on your downspout using your garden hose. This may be sufficient to force the materials out of the downspout, However, if this fails to accomplish the job, a plumber snake would be necessary to extract materials out of the downspout.

Finally, you need to keep doing this process for every six months. While cleaning the gutter, you should also inspect and check for any signs of damage.
